Save Lake Turkana!

My name is Ngatuk.  I live in northwestern Kenya in a small village called Todonyang'.

I am happy to visit Kibera to share information about what is happening with the Gibe III dam, under construction in Ethiopia, which will destroy Lake Turkana and the livelihoods of many people.  All of the people of Kenya, especially the youth, should be aware of the coming environmental destruction of the Gibe III dam.
I am delighted to meet Ignatius Juma, a young activist from Kibera.  I started as an activist myself when I was only seven.  I went to the police to complain about a child who was beaten by the police.  From that day on, I have been a human rights activist.
I say to Ignatius, never ever give up.  God bless you in what you are doing.

Note:  Ngatuk lives in  Todonyang' a village near Lodwar.  He is working with environmental activists around the world to stop the Gibe III dam in Ethiopia which will destroy Lake Turkana.  He met me at Hot Sun Foundation where Ngatuk was being interviewed by Kibera TV.
Ngatuk gave me information about Gibe III Dam and the drying up of Lake Turkana, which will destroy the livelihoods of 500,000 people.
I gave him a DVD of KIBERA KID to share with his community.
